Introducing Bob Erickson, the proud owner and operator of Island Home Finishes. As a 4th generation islander and devoted father of two, Bob has spent all of his 57 years on San Juan Island. With a family legacy deeply intertwined with the community – including his grandfather serving as sheriff and his sister managing the beloved Little Store – Bob is a familiar face to many.

Having started his journey in the construction business at just 18, Bob has worked tirelessly to become a respected General Contractor. Along his professional path, he noticed a gap in the market for a convenient, all-in-one destination for cabinets, flooring, tile, and appliances on San Juan Island.

That's when Island Home Finishes came to life, fulfilling Bob's long-held dream. In November of 2017, Bob and his fiancée Lorien transformed their home office into a remarkable showroom, showcasing a wide variety of trusted brands. Max, Bob's loyal Golden Retriever, has grown up in the store and now serves as its beloved mascot.

When not giving his all to the business, Bob enjoys indulging in his favorite pastime: playing golf. But no matter where he is, Bob holds deep gratitude for his exceptional team, whose unwavering dedication fuels the success of Island Home Finishes.
